During this online course, our students will explore the connections between the world of mathematics and the great city of Chicago.From tackling problems about the ideal Chicago dog to bun ratio to using statistics to find Rizzo’s batting average, rising 5th and 6th grade students will work on developing their problem-solving skills through a series of real-life math applications. This course will allow students to use their mathematical skills to analyze the world around them, fostering a long-term appreciation for math. Students will be provided with supplemental practice work after each class. Please note there will be no make-up times or refunds for missed group sessions.
