If your student has ever tried (unsuccessfully) to convince a teacher that cell phones should be allowed in class or haggled with you over that extra scoop of ice cream, let BEC help to hone those persuasive skills and craft rock-solid arguments even you won’t be able to refute!
It won’t be all fun and games, however. Along the way, we’ll fine-tune students’ grammar, punctuation, outlining, and revision prowess as they craft a persuasive writing piece of their choice. By summer’s end, your rising 5th or 6th grader will walk away with a final writing piece published in our first ever I Insist Anthology. We insist you join us and watch your student’s writing blossom! Students will be provided with supplemental practice work after each class. Please note there will be no make-up times or refunds for missed group sessions. |
