CPS High School Admissions Test

For students applying to 9th grade this application cycle, there are a few changes being made to the CPS High School Admissions Test (HSAT). 

• The HSAT will include only 2 sections: Reading and Math.
• The length of the exam will be shortened to approx. 1 hour.

​CPS Test Dates: October 11, 2023 for current CPS students, and October 14, 15, or 21, 2023 for students not currently enrolled at CPS
Assessment Length: approximately 2 hours, timed

This assessment version is for students who have not yet taken BEC's practice HS Admissions Test

This assessment version is for students who have already taken BEC's first CPS HS Admissions Practice Test

CPS HS Admissions Retest (HSAT)

The above assessment services include scores, question types, and curriculum topics for BEC sessions. All result information is hosted on your testing account due to the proximity of the test and is accessible via Edulastic. ​

​​Assessment testing windows are from Friday morning through Sunday afternoon. Your student can take this remote assessment anytime during this window.
