SUMMER 2025

Our Summer Core Small-Group sessions help rising 8th graders strengthen key academic skills and build test strategies for high school admissions tests. Led by experienced tutors, these weekly Zoom sessions offer targeted instruction in small groups to boost confidence, reinforce skills, and stay sharp over the summer. Sessions include curriculum tracking, homework, and online resources. Flexible, modular scheduling fits your summer plans.
Students will receive a Google Drive folder with session notes and practice to stay organized, support retention, and track progress throughout the summer. Schedule your assessment here. Once completed, we will provide recommendations for the sessions your student needs. |

Workshops
In addition to our Core Small Groups, BEC offers low-cost Reading and Math Drilling + Strategy Workshops designed to reinforce students' learning and sharpen their test-taking skills for the CPS, HSPT, ISEE, SSAT exams. These focused sessions provide targeted practice, strategic review, and repetition to help students confidently apply core concepts.

For additional practice, we recommend the 501 Critical Reading and A+ Beginning Algebra books, though they are optional and can be utilized based on your student’s individual learning preferences.
